Pilar Monzon
Pilar has an Executive Master in Tourism Business Management from the IE, Madrid. She graduated in Technical Business and Tourist Activities. In parallel, she has been an associate professor in the Hotel Management area for the Madrid Business Institute for 10 years.
With more than 25 years in hotel operations, she has worked for the Starwood Hotels & Resorts group and IHG. For 10 years in Portugal, in addition to opening as general director of the InterContinental Porto Palácio das Cardosas and the InterContinental Estoril, she has been a consultant in the M&A area with Planet Hotels & Resorts (now Deloitte Spain). And in 2019 she was Director of Operations in the HCI team, a Spanish multi-brand manager.
She is currently Head of Investment and Asset Manager at Copernicus Hospitality within the Copernicus Group, an independent NPL and REO management platform that operates in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and France.
