Rocío obtained the college degree in Architecture at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla, Spain, and a Master degree in Building and Construction Business Administration at Centro Superior de Arquitectura. Fundación Camuñas, Madrid, Spain. She started her career in 1994 working as Site Manager for a Construction Company and soon she got involved in the Hotel Development Business with positions like Project Director for several Hotel Refurbishment projects, Program Director for Feasibility and Business Planning Department and Managing Director for Development and Project Management. All the different positions had a common denominator: maximum focus on budget and time control.

Rocío has developed an extensive experience in varying positions of the Real Estate and Hotel Development processes providing her of an acquired global vision of the challenges inherent in driving Hotel Projects to excellence. She has been involved in all elements of development (feasibility, design, construction, operations, ownership) working for companies like Intercontinental Hotels Group, Marriott Vacation Club International and for owners developing Hotel Properties to be managed by Mandarin Oriental and Starwood.

She currently applies her expertise working as a consultant in assisting Owners, Developers and Hotel Management Companies by implementing control mechanisms ensuring that projects are properly planned, and then completed on time and in budget.
