Lars is certified by the Cornell University in Real Estate, Development and Hotel Investment and in Business Economics by the Open University in UK, and holds various Diplomas in Project and Change Management and Strategic Marketing. He speaks at various conferences and further holds seminars for senior professionals with schools and hotel associations in Europe (Spain, Germany and Russia).

Lars is an expert of the hotel sector with ample experience of over 15 years in Executive Management as well as working as an external Consultant. Lars started his hotel venture in the Crowne Plaza Heidelberg and the hotel Bayrischer Hof in Munich, Germany, member of “Leading Hotels of the World”. During his management career, he refurbished and opened various hotels like the InterContinental Madrid and the InterContinental Malta, repositioning them successfully in their corresponding markets.

Enjoying the dynamic world of hotels he set-up in 2004 the strategic hotel consultancy Solutions HI in Spain with an ample international network. Parallel he continues to support and teach the new generation of hotel professionals, presenting for example courses at Universities like Universidad Europea de Madrid, or Les Roches Hotel Management School in Marbella, to keep in touch with the future of the hotel industry.
